A space time continum?

I plan to go for a walk, nature can provide the music. Some rustling leaves, a bit of bird song. I hope it is sunny.

I hate it when you put so much of it together. I try not to think about more than 2 at a time. The whole pile makes it look impossible. Move to the EU, at least we dont have GMO food.

Jupiter: I don't think there actually is a game plan, its a bunch of random bad stuff. An actual plan implies brains. :P

I tried to listen to a rebroadcast of Alex today, it was painful. He has turned into one long rant calling everyone idiots and worse. Apparently he doesn't realize he is talking to 'believers', in general the idiots would not be listening .... Calli…

Congress, the 2 ring circus

Been thinking about this for a couple days and came up with the best way to cut the US budget/deficit. Abolish congress. (just in case this is sarcasm)
What a huge waste of tax dollars, and a giant carbon footprint. Wonder what it takes to keep the capitol building and all those offices heated/cooled?
The congress is obviously a waste since the administration can override anything with 'regulations'? I figure if somehow (miracle?) the healthcare reform bill fails in congress TPTB will find a way… Continue

Where is the center?

My heart says that things are exactly the way they are supposed to be, my mind says the world in general and the US in particular is in deep doo doo.
Obamacare
Climategate (NWO)
Vaccines
Economy
Regulatory agencies end run around congress
A war that reminds me of Vietnam
World population reduction
9/11
It goes on and on.
There are times when I am almost angry watching what goes on in this world, watching the world as I knew it and understood it pass away before my eyes. But then I wonder if perh… Continue

Distrubance in the force

(the title really is a bit tongue in cheek)
No matter what you believe regarding God/Universe/Souls/Force human attitudes and feelings are contagious.
In spite of the old quote:

Laugh, and the world laughs with you; Weep, and you weep alone; For the sad old earth must borrow its mirth, But has trouble enough of its own.
Wilcox, Ella Wheeler

Laughter is not the only contagious emotion, fear and anger breed more of the same. And we live these days in a world of fear and anger.
No matter your tak… Continue

2012 Ramblings

Greetings
I'm new here so I figure to just rant on a bit about 2012 to introduce myself.
Best I can recall I first heard of it back in the 80's, I don't think the date was that specific tho, more a matter of Mayan Calendar ends somewhere out there. Over the years I have returned to read up on the latest research/musing about it a few times and rather watched in amazement as it has evolved into the big deal it is now.
What do I believe about 2012?
Depends what day it is. :D
Seriously, I tried thi… Continue

Not a 2012 Disaster: Large Hadron Collider

For all I know it is just spin, but the news this week is that the LHC couldn’t possibly cause a doomsday in 2012 – it will be shut down for repairs. In September 2008, just 9 days after physicists first circulated protons through the 27-kilometer-long subterranean accelerator, the LHC suffered a catastrophic failure when one of [...] Related posts:

Protecting Earth: Governments Finally Getting Serious

The timing could be better, because Dec 2012 is only 2.5 years away, but better late than never! Last month, Representative Dana Rohrabacher (R – CA) introduced the new bill before Congress, H.R. 5587, titled: “To establish a United States Commission on Planetary Defense and for other purposes.” The commission will investigate the role of the United [...] Related posts:

Siberia: A New, Recent Hominin Added to the Mix

For a very long time, homo sapiens were the only human species that were thought to have existed in the last tens of thousands of years. Recently we have witnessed the addition of two species, the Neandertals (latest research says that everyone apart from Africans have some Neandertal DNA), and the Hobbits (who we do [...] Related posts:

Mel Gibson Update

[that Mel Gibson has any special knowledge regarding 2012 is pure speculation on my part, as an example of how a famous person, in the know, might seem to act as 2012 approaches] Well, well – back in February I speculated that perhaps Mel Gibson – the only person who has ever made a movie about [...] Related posts:

NASA Discovers 25,000 New Asteroids

And as an example of how infrequent it is for an asteroid to crash into our planet, not one of the 25,000 is aimed for Earth. It’s a pretty impressive haul for WISE (Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer), finding that number since last December, and also discovering 15 new comets. The telescope is up in space, just [...] Related posts:
